Sonoscopic Morphologies

Sonoscopic Morphologies is a transdisciplinary engagement that investigates sound through microscopy and microscopy through sound. These two perspective shifts reveal spaces in-between materials science and sound art.
Slowness, listening, silence, and disassembly as forms of microscopy are understood as modes of close, reciprocal attention that lay the methodological foundation of the series. In each work, method and subject of investigation, process and result are inseparable. The works emerge from an ongoing experimental artistic research process investigating microscopy as a method.
